Who is responsible for this site

hiiqbiz.com is run by Andre Valentine, LLC, a Hawaiʻi limited liability company doing business as HIIQ Business Solutions (“HIIQ”, “I”, “me”). HIIQ is based in Wahiawā on the island of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. This policy covers the website at hiiqbiz.com only. Work I do for clients is covered by that client’s written agreement, not by this page.

The short version

• There are no accounts, logins, payments, ads, or social-media buttons on this site.
• The only information you can hand me is what you type into the inquiry form, and it arrives as an email to my business mailbox.
• I use Google Analytics to see which pages get read. It is switched off automatically when your browser asks for privacy (Global Privacy Control) or is saving data.
• I do not sell, rent, or trade anyone’s information. Ever.

What the site collects

The inquiry form

The form at the end of Meet Andre asks for your name, your business name, your role, your industry, roughly how big the business is, which island you are on, what you need help with, a short message, your timeline, a budget range, your email address, an optional phone number, and the best time to reach you. You choose how much of that to fill in beyond the required fields.

When you press send, the site emails your answers to HIIQ’s business mailbox (hosted by Microsoft 365) and sets your email address as the reply-to so I can answer you. Your answers are not saved in a database on the website. To stop duplicate and automated submissions, the server keeps a scrambled fingerprint (a one-way hash) of each submission for up to seven days, and a hashed daily counter tied to your internet connection for up to twenty-four hours. Those hashes cannot be turned back into your message or your address.

Analytics

I use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which pages people read. It records the page address and title, the kind of device and browser you use, and a rough location worked out from your IP address, which Google shortens before storing. Google Analytics places small cookies (named “_ga” and “_ga_…”) so it can tell one returning browser from another. There is no advertising on this site and I do not use analytics data to target ads. You can read how Google handles this data and install Google’s opt-out browser add-on if you prefer.

Analytics never loads when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, when you have data saver turned on, or when you are on a very slow connection.

Storage inside your own browser

If you start the inquiry form, your unsent answers are kept in your browser’s session storage so a page refresh does not wipe them; they disappear when you close the tab. Your choice to pause or play the site’s motion is kept in local storage. Neither is sent to me.

Hosting logs

Like every website, the server that hosts hiiqbiz.com (Hostinger) keeps standard access logs: the IP address, date and time, page requested, and browser type. I look at these only for security and troubleshooting.

What the site does not do

• No user accounts, passwords, or profiles.
• No payments or card details of any kind.
• No advertising networks, tracking pixels, or retargeting.
• No social-media widgets, chat pop-ups, or embedded third-party fonts. The fonts, images, and video are served from this site.
• No buying data from, or selling data to, anyone.

How I use what I collect

• To read and answer your inquiry, and to keep a record of that conversation if we go on to work together.
• To understand which pages are useful so I can improve the site.
• To keep the site and the form secure and working.
• To meet legal obligations if they arise.

For visitors in places that require a legal basis for processing (such as the European Union or the United Kingdom): I handle inquiry details because you asked me to respond (steps you request before a possible contract), and analytics and security data under my legitimate interest in running a small, safe website.

Who sees it

Only the service providers that make the site work: Microsoft (the business mailbox your inquiry lands in), Google (analytics), and Hostinger (web hosting). Each acts under its own terms and processes data on my behalf. Beyond that, I would share information only if the law requires it, to protect the site or someone’s safety, or if HIIQ were ever sold or merged, in which case this policy would still apply to what was collected under it.

How long I keep it

• Inquiry emails: as long as needed to handle the inquiry and, if we work together, as part of ordinary business records.
• Form fingerprints on the server: up to seven days. Rate-limit counters: up to twenty-four hours.
• Google Analytics data: up to fourteen months, per the retention setting in the analytics account.
• Hosting logs: per Hostinger’s standard rotation.

Your choices and your rights

You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a copy of your data in a portable form, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. I will honour these requests where the law gives them to you, and I try to honour them anyway where it does not.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, turn on Global Privacy Control, use Google’s opt-out add-on, or simply not use the form. None of that breaks the site.

To make a request, use the inquiry form reached at the end of Meet Andre and say what you need. I will reply to the email address you give.

Children

This site is for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent something through the form, tell me and I will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, with a strict content-security policy that lets the browser talk to this site and to Google Analytics and nothing else. The form’s server code accepts only well-formed submissions, never logs your message, and keeps only hashed fingerprints. Inquiries live in a business mailbox protected by modern authentication. No system is perfect, but the surface here is deliberately small.

Visitors outside the United States

HIIQ is in Hawaiʻi, and the providers above run their systems in the United States and other countries. By using the site or sending an inquiry, your information may be transferred to and handled in those places, which may have different privacy laws than yours.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be called out at the top of the page for a while.
