Selected work / Synthetic demonstrations

See how the
work connects.

Three examples of how HIIQ approaches everyday business problems: a review queue, a useful website, and a clearer handoff.

These are purpose-built demonstrations with fictional information. They show the thinking and the workflow, not client projects or measured results.

01 / Books & adminSynthetic demonstration

Give the paperwork a place to land.

Bring scattered receipts into one review queue, with missing information visible before anything is filed.

Document review queue

A missing document stays visible.

Synthetic demonstration. The documents and statuses are fictional; no accounting system or client records are connected.
  1. 01Collect
  2. 02Suggest
  3. 03Review
  4. 04File
The problem
Receipts arrive in different places. Someone has to work out what each one belongs to, find missing details, and remember what is still unfinished.
The workflow
Collect a document, suggest a category, and keep the source beside the suggestion. In this example, a missing receipt stays in the review queue.
The human checkpoint
A person checks the document and category before approving it. An incomplete item stays open; a suggestion is never an approval.
The handoff
An organized document list, visible unresolved items, and a short checklist explaining how to review the next batch.

The useful changeKnow what is ready, and what still needs a person.

02 / Websites & presenceSynthetic demonstration

Make the next step easy to find.

Explain the work, help visitors decide whether it fits, and give them one clear path to make an inquiry.

An easy next step.

What the business does. Who it helps. How to begin.

  2. 02Explore
  3. 03Inquire
  4. 04Confirm
The problem
A visitor can see that a business exists but cannot quickly tell what it does, who it helps, or how to start a conversation.
The workflow
Lead with the service, answer the practical questions, then connect the inquiry form to a clear submission state. Keep the same reading order on a small screen.
The human checkpoint
The owner reviews the words, photographs, and service details. Form behavior is checked with fictional messages before a public launch.
The handoff
An agreed page structure, reusable visual styles, and instructions for updating the content and checking inquiries.

The useful changeA visitor understands the offer and knows where to go next.

03 / Systems & automationSynthetic demonstration

Make the handoff part of the system.

Turn a repeated request into a visible sequence, with a named next step and an exception path when information is missing.

An exception has somewhere to go.

Synthetic demonstration. All requests, steps, and status labels are fictional; no live apps or external services are connected.
  1. 01Capture
  2. 02Check
  3. 03Approve
  4. 04Hand off
The problem
A request gets copied between tools. The next person cannot see who owns it, what was checked, or what is holding it up.
The workflow
Capture the request once, check the required information, and prepare the next task. If something is missing, route it to review instead of silently continuing.
The human checkpoint
A person resolves the exception and approves the next step. The example records that decision before handing the work onward.
The handoff
A workflow map, clear ownership rules, and a recovery note explaining what to do when the normal path cannot continue.

The useful changeThe next person can see what happened and what comes next.
